We correct material errors clearly, preserve an audit trail and distinguish corrections from routine updates.
How to report an error
Send the article URL, the disputed statement and supporting evidence to corrections@bettimes.io. We prioritise errors that could materially affect a person, company, market or regulatory interpretation.
Correction levels
- Minor: spelling, formatting or non-material clarity changes may be fixed without a note.
- Material: factual changes are disclosed in a correction note and reflected in the updated timestamp.
- Substantial: if the central premise is unreliable, the article may be withdrawn while a notice remains at the original URL.
Structured facts
Corrections to company, market or licence records update the underlying verified fact, its source and verification date. Superseded records should remain available internally for audit purposes.
